How pretty is this tray now!! I love tarnished silver but in this case I wanted to do something different. I have listed the supply list and the video below I hope this inspires you to create beauty from thrifted items!
Supply List
Silver tray was from the thrift store.
I didn't want the patina to come through the paint so I used Ultra Grip sealer first
Once that was dry (the label says to let it dry 2 to 12 hrs) I painted 2 coats of Rose Water. Once dried I used a label from the Brocante Transfer......Because Fusion paint has a built in sealer I did not need to seal before adding the transfer.
I then added Raw Silk to the rim of the tray.

In the video I did not show sealing the tray but since I added the transfer you should seal it. Using Tough Coat either in matte or gloss will allow you to use the tray for anything other than food.
