Decoupage With Tissue Paper

Decoupage With Tissue Paper

Decoupage is a fun and easy way to give new life to old items. We used the tissue from the Decoupage Club box to decoupage this jar. The result is a beautiful, unique piece that adds a touch of personality to any room.

First, we gathered all of the materials we needed: the jar, the tissue from the Decoupage Club box, decoupage glue (Liquid Patina) a brush, paint and scissors. First we painted the jar with

White Linen  Next, we carefully cut the tissue to fit on the jar.

Then, we applied a thin layer of Liquid Patina  to the jar using the brush. We carefully placed the tissue pieces on top of the glue, smoothing them out as we went. We continued this process until the entire jar was covered in tissue.

Finally, we applied a final coat of Liquid Patina  over the top of the tissue to seal it in place. We allowed the jar to dry completely before using it.

The result is a beautiful, unique jar that adds a touch of personality to any room. This simple and easy project is a great way to up-cycle old items and give them new life. Try it out for yourself and see what kind of beautiful results you can achieve!
